Andy Farley became a DJ because of his severe lack of social/dancing skills. Making terrible electronic music since the 7th grade, his musical tastes have both broadened and deepened with a faster internet connection and compulsive collecting habits. His musical influences vary widely from John Tejada’s minimal techno blips to The Chariot’s brutal hardcore breakdowns. The focus of his show, DropB, is to present music that sounds like Chicago house played through a broken Super Nintendo…or something like that. Andy is the current Music Director for Streetbeat at WNUR 89.3 FM.


Currently, he studies Chemical Engineering. When not furiously evaluating mass/energy balances or freaking out about grad school he enjoys designing/maintaining web pages and mucking around in all sorts of computer hardware/software.
