Yea it’s Spring already so what. I can still review a winter beer they stopped making months ago still can’t I. Not my fault I have extra ones in my fridge and one my favorites too.
Brewery Hometown: Its from the Boston Beer company. You better be able to tell where that is by urself
Appearance: Pour it fast and you’ll get tons of light tan head from the bottle and stays for quite a while. If you pour it too fast it will even almost over flow your glass. A nice dark reddish amber color. Appearance is perfect. Makes me want to just drink it right away.
Aroma: It’s a dark wheat beer, so you’d hope thats in there. And it is! Theres a roasted malty smell with a hint of winter spices, cinnamon & some caramel.
Taste: Taste like it smells which I can’t complain. Has a slight bite to it, but its a smooth medium beer. Spices aren’t strong but there in flavor. Very easy to drink for a thicker beer.
Alcohol: 5.8 %
Drink one or all?: Drink all! even a Keg worth like we did on New years? I think so. Easy enough to even play during Beer pong for me, but not Jim when all he drink is busch light or miller lite.
Cost: 14$ /12 pack
Overall: 8.4 I can drink this always. I wait for winter to come around for this beer. But its not something amazing or over flavorful for a winter lager. No need to bust your ass to get one. If you want something amazing in flavor there is better out there. But when your at a bar and the only have the usual, you can’t go wrong with this seasonal because its usually what I get when its around. It’s a beer that I can chill with all night over and over and not get sick of because its great beer to just drink tons of.
